The paper presents preliminary results of the research project aimed at identification of stable acoustic parameters of a kinakeme, taken as basic articulatory-acoustic entity of speech production and perception according to Baudouin de Courtenay’s theoretical assumptions. Special Matlab application, designed for investigation of spectral parameters of speech signal and allocation of articulatory gesture according to the kinakemes list items has been programmed. The application provided human expert with effective speech signal tagging tools, as well as automatic labeling of a natural speech according to kinakemes’ inventory appointed for the Russian language by Plotkin. Spectral changes in kinakeme’s adjacency have been calculated according to special algorithms. Stable parameters of the spectral dynamic patterns were specified for 11 basic kinakemes of the Russian phonetic system. The investigation results could be helpful for elaboration of advanced speech recognition technology.
