The Conference on Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymeric Materials is an annual conference dedicated to recent developments in polymer science and technology. The 10th Conference on Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymeric Materials, follows on the successes of earlier nine workshops held in Pardubice (Czech Republic) 2010, Riga (Latvia) 2011, Cracow (Poland) 2012, Pisa (Italy) 2013, San Sebastian (Spain) 2014, Bragança (Portugal) 2015, San José (Costa Rica) 2016, Prague (Czech Republic) 2017 and Cracow (Poland) 2018. This year the event is coming back to Latvia to the beautiful and historical city of Riga with architecture from Gothic cathedrals to world-class Art Nouveau. The conference combines two popular areas of current research: the green approach utilizing renewable resources and mild reaction conditions together with innovative nanotechnologies enabling to design novel polymer materials with advanced properties. The 10th Conference on Green Chemistry and Nanotechnologies in Polymeric Materials organized by the Latvian State Institute of Wood Chemistry offers a friendly environment to encourage open discussions, to exchange ideas and to initiate collaboration with other participants from scientific institutions and industry.
