  This congress is a regular biennial scientific meeting of the Federation of Asian Polymer Societies (FAPS). FAPS was founded in December 2007. Official website: FAPS. To date, there are 14 Asian member societies. The first FAPS Polymer Congress was organized in Nagoya, Japan in 2009, followed by the meetings in Beijing, China in 2011, Bangalore, India in 2013, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2015, Jeju, Korea in 2017, and Taipei in 2019. The 7th Congress is planned in Russia in 16-17 June, 2021. Because of unclear situation with the pandemia of Covid-19 restricting faceto- face contacts of scientists from foreign countries, it has been decided to organize the FAPS 2021 in the online format with publication of e-Abstract Book. Congress will be organized as a panel for interdisciplinary discussion and exchange ideas between internationally recognized scientists concerning the state of the art in polymer chemistry that can serve for improving and developing of chemical engineering and nanotechnology, microelectronics and optics, materials processing, oil production, food, biochemical, pharmaceutical and biomedical technologies, which in their turn increase the quality and make human life healthy and comfortable.
