The main purpose of the workshop is to foster international cooperation in the areas of Geometric Function Theory and to promote further interaction among Indian experts with a wide range of function theorists and geometers from other countries. The workshop will, for the most part, focus on the inspiring branches of Complex Analysis, namely, univalent functions, hyperbolic-type geometry, function spaces, special functions, harmonic and quasiconformal mappings, and several complex variables. The primary emphasis of the workshop will be on training Ph.D. students, postdoctoral fellows, and other young researchers, and promoting collaborative research involving all the potential participants. The relevant themes from Geometric Function Theory will be introduced to the participants through a series of lectures on this topic by globally renowned experts. It will put special emphasis on the exposure of Ph.D. students and postdoctoral fellows to the latest trends. The three-day workshop will include a couple of problem discussion sessions from which participants will definitely benefit by gaining professional knowledge and skills. The plan also includes bringing together a group of experts from diverse subfields to discuss recent progress and to share ideas on open questions. Research students, it is hoped, will especially benefit from these sessions through the professional insight gained. More generally, the workshop aims to foster conversations between them and the senior researchers participating in the program. The workshop will provide an opportunity for fruitful interaction among researchers from India and several other International participants. In particular, young research scholars will be able to know the recent developments and new avenues of current research activities in the related fields. It will also bring inspiration to undertake their research work and contribute substantially to the existing literature in this field. The main speakers of the workshop are distinguished researchers in the field of Geometric Function Theory. Their lectures will highlight the intricate links between the various areas and their applications. These lectures are intended to serve as a catalyst for generating new ideas and for further collaborative activities.
