  This workshop continues the series of Chinese-Russian Workshop that has been launched as a joint effort of China and Russia in Moscow, Russia. It is targeted at furthering co-operation in between various groups of scientists in the field of fundamental and applied photonics and laser physics in China and Russia and attracting to this collaboration young scientists (undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs), supporting their interest in mastering research and innovations. The workshop will cover (but not limited to) the following topics: 1.Nano- and femto-photonics: Foundations and applications 2.Quantum and atom optics; quantum information science 3.Physics of terahertz radiation: Generation and future applications 4.Modern tendency and advantages in solid-state lasers and laser systems; development in new laser and nonlinear optical crystals.
