Аннотация доклада:
The first prototype of a commercial S-band MBK, that employs the new bunching technology (BAC) was designed and fabricated at VDBT and successively tested at CERN. Maximum efficiency of 59,7 % was measured at an output power level of 6 MW and an operating voltage of 50 kV.
