It is known that the Black Sea is the world's largest miromectic body of water (with a non-immiscible water level). The main flora and fauna in it is in the surface layer, which is only 150 meters. Therefore, strong winds have a strong negative impact on the development of fishing. For example, with winter storms, waves up to 6-8 m can form! And in the bays, a seiche can be formed with an amplitude of 40-50 cm and a period of up to several hours. And this can cause damage to farms, where oysters and mussels are bred. Therefore, the present study is devoted to the study of such phenomena that lead to the formation of strong winds. One of them is the Novorossiysk bora – a strong gusty wind, directed from the mountains to the sea in the Novorossiysk area. The climatic forecast of the Novorossiysk bora in a changing climate made it possibleto obtain the information on the change in the incidence of cases with the high wind velocities to quantify the wind impact and the consequences of the bora,so that, ifnecessary, to take the appropriate measures in advance to reduce the possible damage. The forecast for the frequency of the Novorossiysk bora in the 21st centurywas made. It is shown that during the warming period the number of "Siberian class" situations will grow, in which the bora of the frontal and monsoon types (which are the most extreme in their meteorological characteristics and consequences) is observedmore often.
