The field of AI was appeared in the middle of the last century and since then accompanied by waves of optimism followed by disappointment. Nowadays, AI is experiencing a resurgence. Advances in computer power and theoretical understanding of AI techniques have brought AI to an important milestone: computers are now becoming capable of doing jobs that it was assumed only humans could perform. This opens up new possibilities for business growth and performance. In this report, we consider modern approaches to AI and attempt to assess their potential impact across promising applications.
