Abstract. Modern competent professional should know a foreign language in a professional manner. However, even the most effective traditional and innovative technologies can not provide the quality of students’ mastering a foreign language if they have no motivation. We conducted a theoretical analysis that revealed a number of pedagogical technologies to increase students' motivation to learn a foreign language. Formation of motivation to study foreign language effectively implemented through the system settings, encouraging independence through activation of creative thinking, introduction to the research and application of modern information and communication technologies.
