English is prolific in the coinage of new words like no other language. It is the source of new concepts in the spheres of technology, art, food production, lifestyle, fashion and education. New words flow into the language from a range of sources and reflect the changes society is undergoing. The breathtaking global proliferation of new words is caused by the rise of the ubiquitous networks and blogs. New words come in a package with a concept and, being coined in the Anglosphere, transmit the liberal values they are based on. At least 20 new words a year pertain to the sphere of ethics, the overall struggle for human rights. Feminist neologisms are especially peculiar in their highly metaphorical basis, humour, strong associations with latest cultural phenomena and feminist publications. The drawn up glossary of feminist neologisms is a valuable reference for the Module in C2 English focusing on social issues.
