Interaction of the non-classical light with matter is one of the most interesting and important problems of modern quantum optics and nanophysics. Now the generation of different types of non-classical electromagnetic field such as Fock states, few-photon states, squeezed states and so forth becomes possible in the experiment. Non-classical states of light appear to be very promising for many practical applications including quantum computing purposes and superresolution quantum measurements. The interaction of such states with semiconductor systems and nanostructures opens new opportunities for quantum information transfer as well as controllable managing the properties of such quantum media. However this direction is still very little studied.
