Vegetable raw materials is an attractive source for the chemical industry. Environmentally friendly and renewable vegetable raw materials are already widely used in many industries. One such source is the waste of rice production. All over the world hundreds of millions of tons of rice (180 million tons in 2014) are produced annually, with 20% by weight of is a waste - rice husks. Rice husk studies have shown that it can be a valuable source of raw materials and finished products - sorbents, carriers for catalysis, nano high purity silica, silica, activated carbon. Development of methods for conversion of rice husk is one of the important areas of current research. We have obtained and are characterized the valuable products in the conversing of rice husk ash: activated carbon and silicon, which showed promise in electrochemical applications, a high-purity nano-sized silica sorbent with surface area more than 200 m2 \ g, a filler for the polymer industry. The activated carbon showed specific area 1400 m2 \ g (before activation was 130), end capacitance of activated carbon derived from cyclic voltammograms was up to 200 F\g.
