Factor X (FX) activation by the membrane-assembled complex of intrinsic tenase is well-established reaction, known to be crucial for the amplification of blood plasma coagulation [1]. Its regulation, in particular, the rate-controlling steps in the tenase reaction, remains poorly understood. Ten years ago we have shown that the formation of FVIII-FX complex is critical for the tenase activity [2], but since than new data occurred, including non-linear association of factors with membrane [3] and non-linear increase in the tenase activity with increase in phosphatidylserine (PS) content [4]. Aims: Here we aimed to perform computational analysis of the molecular mechanisms governing FX activation by the phospholipid membrane-assembled intrinsic tenase
