The main sources of energy, organizing and directing activity of all tectonic and endogenous processes of the Earth during geoevolution are considered to be: heat, land acquired during its accretion, due to processes of collisions, processes early in Earth's history - differentiation of the Earth's shells and the core formation. Another heat source is the natural radioactivity for many of its constituent elements, including uranium, thorium, potassium, etc. These sources are characterized by monotonic changes in enthalpy and heat-flux of shells and layers of the planet. For this reason they can not explain any of the cyclic planetary processes, which are characterized by an abundance of active life of our planet, and many others solar system bodies. In addition, modern quantitative estimates clearly show that the radioactive heat gives only a small component of the observed heat flow (a few percents). The last "straw" for the research of activity of endogenous processes on the Earth, others planets and satellites remained a source of thermal energy associated with tidal deformations of a viscous-elastic shells under the gravitational influence of the surrounding (external) celestial bodies. In this case, it would seem, it is possible to explain the cyclic variations in the activity of many planetary processes with frequencies characteristic of the unperturbed and perturbed orbital motions of the solar system bodies. However, researchers in this field have failed, since tidal energy of many celestial bodies and the dissipation of their tidal energy was very weak.
