We study relationships between Pc1 wave activity observed by ground-based observatories and in the magnetosphere, and energetic particle dynamics detected by magnetospheric and low-altitude spacecraft. Two events are analyzed during which EMIC waves have been detected by ERG and Van Allen Probes spacecraft and by ground-based stations in Finland and Russia. Energetic particle data from ERG and Van Allen Probes are analyzed. In particular, time delays between particle enhancements at different spacecraft are compared with magnetic drift times and with observations of EMIC waves. Energetic ion precipitation were observed by NOAA/POES at locations nearly congugate to the magnetospheric spacecraft trajectories. The precipitation fluxes are compared with estimates based on quasi-linear diffusion theory.
