This paper uncovers the ongoing activities of establishing the China-Russia Consortium as an ICAO-assigned global space weather center for air navigation safety. The effects of space weather on crew and passengers of the aircraft and aircraft systems pose a substantial concern for both airlines and passengers. An endeavor of the International Civil Aviation Organization has brought the industry to the apprehension of the risks possible and assigned three global space weather monitoring entities for issuing the advisories on possible threats. Recently, ICAO assigned the fourth center to enter the service. This center comprises space weather monitoring and aviation organizations of Russia and China. Currently, this center is undergoing preparations for duty. Besides coordination and paperwork, these preparations include the adoption of algorithms and procedures aligned with other centers.
