Аннотация доклада:
The report deals with the initial stage of training consecutive and simultaneous interpreting at the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation at Lomonosov Moscow State University. The textbook on political, economic and legal translation has been used for this purpose for over 15 years as a key training input. WE have considered a number of abilities and skills that learners are to develop to successfully obtain the qualification of interpreters and we offer a system of exercises to guide them on this journey.
