In this paper amorphous ferromagnetic microwires’ properties are thorouly analyzed with regard to magnetic tweezers requirements. Essentially, microwires demonstrate rectangular hysteresis with high saturation magnetisation values. It is assumed that the act of attaching or detaching cell with ferromagnetic particle embedded into it can be reasonably controlled by applying the current to the copper coil around the microwire.
