Herein we report on the synthesis of new d10 metal ferrocenyl pyrazolates and the investigation of complexation of various macrocycles with phosphorus containing compounds.Macrocycles form stable complexes with π-aromatic systems like Cp2Fe.[2] The aim of this work is to reveal the properties of the macrocycles in which ferrocene serves as a substituent in the pyrazolate ring. According to spectroscopic (NMR, IR, UV-vis) study the interaction of [Cp*Fe(η5-P5)] and [Cb*Co(η5-(C4(Me)4P))] with trimeric pyrazolates yields new complexes which are astonishingly stable in solution. In the case of P5 ligand single crystal X-ray analysis reveals unprecedented structural changes in the interacting molecules and the unique type of coordination [Cp*Fe(μ3 η5:η2,η2 P5){Cu(3,5 (CF3)2Pz)}3]. The 90° macrocycle folding makes the copper atoms able to behave both as Lewis acid and Lewis base in the interaction with cyclo-P5 ligand
