Spectra and slit-jaw images of limb flares and eruptive prominences were observed with a high temporal resolution by the Ondrejov observatory optical spectrograph. Both emission and absorption patterns found in the spectra and Øltergrams are used to restore and describe dynamic processes occurring in early and late phases of eruptive events. Kinematic and MHD models are used for simulations of the processes and the observed spectral patterns. Estimation of parameters associated with plasma flows and expulsion is carried out.
