We analyzed H-alpha filtergrams and large dispersion spectrograms of selected active and eruptive prominences observed with Ondřejov optical spectrographs in the last two decades. For individual prominences we derived both kinematic and dynamic parameters and compared them with EUV, X-ray and microwave observations available for these phenomena. We discuss both the common features and individual particularities found in the data analysis and refer them to existing coronal structures.
