Аннотация доклада:
Here we have observed the Magnus force on a microparticle manipulated and actuated by magneto-optical tweezers. The force is explained in terms of thermophoretic forces acting on microparticle due to non-uniform distribution of liquid’s temperature in vicinity of the trapped microparticle at ultra low Reynolds number.
