The lower urinary tract function is often underestimated among neurosurgeons and patients alike, due to it’s seemingly lower effect than loss of motor function and pain syndrome. Yet when left undiagnosed and unthreaded neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunctions may lead to significant harm and complications in postoperative period after spinal neurosurgery. Current study is being conducted with the aim to boost awareness among neurosurgeons of importance of proper neuro-urological examination as a part of initial neurological assessment of the patient.
