The specifics of the modern semi-arid landscape of the foothills of the Eastern Caucasus within South Dagestan is an extensive massif of natural clay poorlands forming the northwestern outpost of the Palas-Syrt structural-denudational uplands. To analyze the regularities of spatial differentiation of manifestations of suffusion processes in meso- and microrelief, we used materials of low-altitude optical and multispectral UAV surveys with ultra-high (subdecimeter) spatial and vertical resolution (stereophotogrammetric point clouds, index images, surface models) for two test sites. Remote indication and mapping of suffusion manifestations was carried out on the basis of visual interpretation of orthophotomosaics and morphometric analysis of the obtained DEMs. The thematic interpretation of distributions of local and combined morphometric values for indication and localization of suffosion manifestations and erosion processes in the test areas was carried out.
