Аннотация доклада:
Translational rectilinear movement of a rigid body within a resistive medium is considered. The body is controlled by an internal mass performing periodic motions with a piecewise constant relative velocity. The resistance force is proportional to the squared velocity of the body. Periodic motions of the system are examined, and their average speed is evaluated. Conditions are established that correspond to the maximum speed under different constraints imposed.
