Time and space are fundamental categories that underlie scientific and natural language metaphysics, traditionally considered the most relevant yet long-debated. The goal of our research is to identify and describe the primary features of time representation fixed in the Russian and Chinese language picture of the world. Structural-semantic analysis, linguo-cultural analysis, and comparative analysis are used as research methods. This research examines possible models oriented differently in time based on the speaker's perspective, highlights differences in the measurements of the temporal-spatial mechanism in Chinese and Russian cognitive models of time, and suggests variations in cognitive markers in the Chinese and Russian languages. Additionally, two models of the Chinese temporal-spatial system have been summarized in this research, and potential discrepancies in translation have been pointed out.
