Pechora Sea is the offshore part of the Timan-Pechora Basin and is one of the main oil producing regions in the European part of Russia. The favorable geographical position and the presence of significant oil and gas reserves have caused great interest to him and fast development of the resources of oil and gas part of its land. Currently particularly important search fields not only within well-studied areas of land, but also in the offshore part of it, much less studied. Non-destructive testing methods allow for more reliable estimating the structural features of the complex pore space in carbonate rocks and to identify the type of reservoir before studies of petrophysical properties.
