Polymer forms of phosphorus (red phosphorus) are widely used in various fields of industry: the production of organophosphorus compounds (for textile and chemical industries), phosphorylating agents, phosphorus fertilizers, fire retardants, pyrotechnics, extreme pressure lubricants, matches, incandescent lamps. The purpose of this work is to study the processes of polymerization of elemental (white) phosphorus under irradiation with accelerated electrons as an alternative method for obtaining phosphorus-containing polymers, including red phosphorus.
