It is known that liquid crystal phases can exist in the systems of non-mesogenic molecules if they form mesogenic dimers. In many cases these dimers are not stable, but there can be a dynamical equilibrium between molecular pairs due to specific interactions. We consider the mixture of monomers of types A and B which can form the mesogenic dimers of types AA, BB and AB in various proportions in the framework of molecular-statistical approach. We have found a possibility for the temperature induced phase transitions within the nematic state in such mixtures caused by recombination of different dimers.
