The solvent crazing of isotactic polypropylene in a hyperbranched polyethoxysiloxane was studied, and parameters of the porous structure obtained were characterized. The content of polyethoxysiloxane introduced was to 60 vol%. Processes of acid and basic hydrolysis of a hyperbranched polyethoxysiloxane within porous crazed polypropylene matrices were investigated. The degree of hydrolysis was 85-90 %. Structure and mechanical properties were presented for new polymer-silicate hybrid materials. It was discovered that polypropylene-silicate films shown unusual sorption properties to vapors of low molecular weight liquids.
