Описание:The course was created in MSU, Moscow and is ment for teaching in English the bachelor physics students starting with the spring semester of 2014/2015 school year.
This course provides a description of various phenomena associated with laser interaction with biomelecules, live cells, cell suspensions and biotissues. Fundamentals of static, dynamic and Raman light scattering and fluorescence-based techniques are discussed. Topics include optics of cells and tissues, single and multiple light scattering, photon migration, laser Doppler flowmetry, optical coherence tomography, polarization sensitive measurements, formation of biospeckles and speckle velocimetry, in vitro and in vivo noninvasive measurements, specific laser and non-laser light effects on cell and tissue structure and function. Special emphasis is made on new diagnostic instrumentation and clinical applications.
