Memorandums of understanding between the faculty of soil Science of MSU and the Vietnam Academy of Forest Sciences and the Vietnam National University of Forestry were signed. 3) 21-25 August, 2018 (Moscow, Russia, Moscow State University), workshop “Some promising technologies for sustainable development of forestry and agricultural production”. For the first time in project the results of the research between the working of two separate groups were reported to each other (MSU - Udayana University and MSU - Vietnamese Forest Academy). New participants of the working groups: representatives of the Faculty of Forestry, University of Tai Nguyen; the Faculty of Forest Resources and Nature Management, Vietnam National Forest University; the Vietnam Academy of Forest Sciences. With these institutes, the Soil Science Faculty signed Memoranda of Understanding. The results of dissemination of the obtained knowledge through the page to the FB were presented (https://www.facebook.com/naturefriendlytech). The concept of creating an educational network of universities and institutes of ASEAN and Moscow State University for the dissemination of innovative technologies in monitoring the environment, agriculture and water purification is outlined. Indonesian delegation visited a Lignohumate Ltd. plant in St. Petersburg. As a result, the possibilities of developing lignohumate production directly in Indonesia were discussed. 4) 30 August, 2018 (Pattaya, Thailand), the 3rd ASEAN-Russian Federation Senior Official’s Meeting on Agriculture (The 3rd ARSOMA) During the meeting Dr. Nataliya Shchegolkova, project manager, presented the report on the project progress, all participants discussed the results and possible new ways of using them for all ASEAN counties, including a probable apply for a new project proposal. ANNEX 8. List of participants ANNEX 9. Summary Record 5) 11-16 November, 2018 (Bangkok, Thailand), working visit to the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) for acquaintance with working treatment facilities of the Treatment Wetland type and with sampling for the composition of the bacterial community. 6) 19 November, 2018 (Bali, Indonesia), workshop „Study of Bali Rivers Water Quality via Automated Workflow using Python and Arcgis Tools” Practical proposals about using GIS methodology for reducing pollution of surface and groundwater for Bali (Indonesia), developed by the University of Udayana (Indonesia) and Moscow State University (Russia) were sent to the Ministry of Agriculture of Republic of Indonesia. It should be noted that the approach developed for GIS can be effectively applied not only in Bali, but also for other regions, regardless of their climatic features. 7) 3-8 December, 2018 (Moscow, Russia, Moscow State University), workshop “Intermediate results of the Project and participation in scientific conferences in Russia with reports on project results”. The strategy of business, scientific and education partnership for the period from December 2018 to April 2019 and from April 2019 to December 2019 was outlined. Upon completion of the educational experiment, it is intended to develop and apply a joint experimental training program (2–3 years old) for the preparation of masters and specialists in the field of water management. It is planned to create a cycle of training videos on the program "Water Management". Project on the Russia-ASEAN Foundation (MSU in partnership with Udayana University).
3 1 января 2019 г.-31 декабря 2019 г. этап 2019 года
Результаты этапа: Achieved During the implementation of the project a network of scientific and practical expert has been established. There were signed 8 MoU between Moscow State University and universities of ASEAN countries (ANNEX B2. 5-12). The established 4 international multidisciplinary teams made planned research and participated in workshops, where they exchanged of scientific approaches and practical methods focused on sustainable land management between ASEAN countries. The results of researches and discussions were posted on FB “Nature-friendly technologies in agriculture and not only” https://www.facebook.com/Nature-friendly-technologies-in-agriculture-and-not-only-146369379342014 Also there were published articles, news on official sites of ministers etc. It was decided to develop the information platform by creating information and analytic online-journal (as the most appropriate form for disseminating experience to ASEAN countries). At the moment, such online-journal is under development. It will reflect the specific results of the research carried out in four areas (molecular-biological diagnostics, the use of GIS for the environmental assessment for landscape activities, training programs on ecology and agriculture, wastewater treatment in countries of the tropical region). 4 experimental fields were chosen in Russia, Indonesia, Vietnam (ANNEX B2.15) and Myanmar (Part A, Annex 15) for testing of lignohumates. In addition, dozens of experiments were conducted in the laboratory (both with seeds and sprouts of crops). Lignohumates were tested on 5 cultures (Rice, Red Cabbage, Rukola, Lactuca Sativa, Coriander). Indonesian delegation visited a Lignohumate Ltd. plant in St. Petersburg. As a result, the possibilities of developing lignohumate production directly in Indonesia were discussed. Myanmar is considering the possibility of producing lignohumates in this country, that is confirmed by a triple cooperation agreement (MGU-Lignohumate Ltd., Myanmar-MGU). Research of soils sampling brought from Indonesia and Vietnam were carried out by MSU and institutes of RAS, including micro-biological methods. It has been proven that the use of lignohumates allows to reduce the pesticides at least twice (by 50 %), to significantly increase the mass of 1000 grains and the number of grains in the ear. Increasing the level of chlorophyll during the application of lignohumates contributed to increase the carbohydrate content of rice grains (article in “Chemistry: water and ecology”). River basin in Vietnam was chosen for modelling erosion processes. Assessment of CO2 assimilation by agricultural crops on soils of varying degrees of erosion in Vietnam was carried out (article by Valeriy Demidov et al). Bali Island was used as a testing ground for the development of soil-ecological GIS based on environmental monitoring data for 7 years. The approval of the Bureau and representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia was received; a decision was made on patenting the database and distributing it to other regions. The patent for the DB “Long-term environmental monitoring data for water and soil resources in Bali” registered in Institute of Water Problems of Russian Academy of Science (#2019620205) The procedure of patenting and certification of new humic preparations and regulations is being making in Indonesia (The Bureau of the Environmental, the Ministry of Agriculture, Udayana University) for further using in ASEAN region. It was chosen one of preparations “Lingohumate” of Lignohumate Ltd. Plant in St. Petersburg for experiments. Bacterial supplements that have been reasonably selected (based on the experiments) are some species of nitrogen-fixing organisms. Currently, technological chains for the production of such preparations are being developed on the basis of the experiments performed. Results of the researches carried out during the projects were presented at workshops, conferences, round table, and they were published on Facebook page and scientific journals. In general it was published 9 articles, 11 reports and 79 presentations made during conferences and meetings (list of publications and presentations are presented in ANNEX B2.3-4). During the implementation of the project over 80 persons took part in the planned events (lists of participants and events are presented in ANNEX B.2.1-2) In general it was hold 5 workshops (3 in Russia, 2 in Indonesia, 1 in Vietnam) and 1 teleconference, also there were 1 working visit to Vietnam and 2 working visits to Thailand, also participation in official meetings - ASEAN-Russian Federation Senior Official’s Meeting on Agriculture (ARSOMA-2 and ARSOMA-3), where the results of the Project were presented to ASEAN countries official representatives.
