Аннотация:The polarization response of neutral sub-gap photoexcited states in nonoriented nanopolyacetylene films was measured using a femtosecond photoinduced polarimetry technique. We show that the observed polarization signals are associated with a linear dichroism. in the photoexcited state of trans-nanopolyacetylene. The characteristic decay time of the polarization signals was 1.4 ps. At the same time, we conclude that the photoinduced anisotropy persists up to 10 ps and therefore the photoexcited pi electrons are highly delocalized along the polymer chains. (21 References).
