- Аннотация: The effect of dipole-dipole interactions between s urface asperities on the shift of the local field resonant frequency has been studied. Expressions have been derived for the acting field factor as a function of the geometry and surface density of asperities and the incident radiation polarization. It has been shown that the collective effects alone may shift the resonant frequency from the ultraviolet to the optical and infrared regions
