Аннотация:The compound Cu(NH(3))(2)(NO(3))(2) (I) was prepared by heating Cu(NH(3))(4)(NO(3))(2) (II) at atmospheric pressure in a desiccator over H(2)SO(4) (135 degrees C, 72 h, dry air). Thermolysis of compounds I and II was studied by means of gas-phase mass spectrometry at pressures from 10(-4) to 10(-5) Pa at low heating rates. It was shown that throughout the range of temperatures studied thermolysis of compound II results in compound I. As pressure increases from 10(-4) to 10(5) Pa, the temperature at which compound II decomposes noticeably to compound I and NH(3) increases from 80-90 to 130-140 degrees C. Thermolysis of compound I is observed at 170-180 degrees C and results in various products depending on the ambient pressure. The products of thermolysis at atmospheric pressure are CuO; NH(4)NO(3); NH(3); HNO(3); and gaseous oxidation and reduction products, mainly H(2)O and N(2)O. At reduced pressure of 1 to 10 Pa, Cu(NO(3))(2) Molecules appear in the gas phase in addition to the aforementioned compounds. Under a high vacuum of 10(-4) Pa, Cu(NO(3))(2) and NH(3) are the major products of decomposition of compound I.
