Аннотация:The second boundary control problem is considered for the wave equation with variable coefficients in the class of continuous generalized solutions with finite energy together with dual observation problem in class of weak generalized solutions having irregular derivatives. On sufficiently large time intervals the uniqueness of the solution of the dual observation problem in conjugate non-smooth classes is established and a constructive estimation of correct solvability is obtained. An explicit expression for the evaluation constant can be used in the construction of stable numerical approximations to solutions of both considered control and observation problems.
