Аннотация:The article analyzes the problem of the place and role of private military companies as a new non-state actor of international relations in the domestic public discourse. The question arises as to the possibility of using private military companies as provider of the national interests of the Russian Federation in the face of growing external threats. At the same time still it isn't possible to develop the relevant standard and law base for legalization and support of military outsourcing. In many respects this phenomenon is explained by lack of distinct policy in relation to the sector, and low degree of initiative on advance of the similar companies on the global market. The author has step by step considered the taken steps in the form of legislative initiatives directed to attempt of legalization of commercial military structures. In work arguments of pros and cons of creation from scratch of such companies are adduced, and on the example of the commercial organization "Russian Security Systems" it is shown what tasks the private military companies both within the country and abroad could carry out.
