Аннотация:A dodecanucleotide consisting of 1-(beta-D-2’-deoxy-threo-pentafuranosyl)thymine residues [d(xT)(12)] was synthesized by the amidophosphite method. Under conditions close to the physiological ones (pH 7.6, 100 mM KCl, 10 mM MgCl2), it formed stable duplexes with rA(12) (T-m = 29 degrees C) and dA(12) (T-m = 30 degrees C). It was shown that d(xT)(12)/rA(12) and d(xT)(12)/dA(12) are not substrates for E. coli RNase H and do not bind to the enzyme.
