Аннотация:Stress state of modified fiber composites with whiskerized fibers was studied in each phase (basic fiber, whiskerized interphase layer and matrix) for two loading types: Uniaxial stretching and transverse shear. We considered two types of fiber composites with epoxy matrix: (i) basic Т-650 carbon fiber surrounded with an interphase layer involving rigid carbon nanotubes and epoxy matrix and (ii) basic IM7 carbon fiber surrounded with an interphase layer involving ZnO nanowires and epoxy matrix. The aim of the investigation of stress state was to estimate, both qualitatively and quantitatively, strength of different phases of a modified fiber composite.
