- Аннотация: Frozen and cooled drops were used as a target in the Fast Atom Bombardment Mass Spectrometry (FAB-MS) analysis of organic and inorganic water solutions. We developed an original inlet system for the analysis of frozen samples. The technique gives the possibility to detect anions and cations in inorganic water solutions down to 10(-4) to 10(-3) g.L-1. Dissolved organic compounds can be analyzed by using a frozen water-glycerol matrix (glycerol similar to 200 g.L-1). With such a matrix the production of protonated molecular ions of organic compounds was found to be 10 to 20 times higher than with a standard glycerol matrix.
