Аннотация:Rhodium and iridium are characterized by the formation of cluster binuclear coordinationcompounds, in which the bond is formed both by the metal atoms and by the bridgingatoms of halogens, oxygen, phosphorus, and other ligands in the molecules. The compoundsRh2Cl6(SeCl2)4(I) and [IrCl4.(SCl2)2]-(SCl3)+ (II) investigated in the present work weresynthesized from the aquachlorides of the respective metals and chalcogenide chlorides innonaqueous media. The synthesized complexes are hydrolyzed by a moist atmosphere. Whenheated above 100oC the complexes decompose.
