Аннотация:The investigation of ion formation using the excitation of atoms in flames by lase resonance radiation is discussed. the dependence of the optogalvanic (OG) signal upon the laser energy density was examined The results of this study have shown the rolr of photo and collisional ionization mechanisms in the OG processs. For rubidium and cesium the mechanism is photoionization; for clcium it almost purely collisional ionization. High sensitivity determinations of Rb and ca in flame were achieved. The limits of detection (3S-criterion) are equal to 0.0006 and 0.02 ng ml-1 for rubidium and calcium, respecttively.
