Аннотация:Methods for forming protective coatings from tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) telomeric solutions were developed. A complex study of electrochemical, tribological, and hydrophobic properties of composite coatings formed on magnesium alloys by plasma electrolytic oxidation, followed by deposition of a fluororganic material from TFE solutions, was carried out. Evidence was obtained for the enhanced corrosion resistance and wear resistance of those coatings. The composite layers were found to have hydrophobic properties.
