Аннотация:The initial-boundary value problem for a singularly perturbed parabolic equation is Considered. It is assumed that the degenerate equation has two roots whose graphs intersect along a curve which comes into the zone of the boundary layer. The leading terms of the asymptotics of the solution are found, the lower and upper solutions of the problem are constructed, the local existence theorem is established. and a theorem on the passage to the limit (as the small parameter tends to zero) to the corresponding composed solution of the degenerate equation is proved.
