Аннотация:The molecular mass distribution of poly(arylene ether ketone) based on dibenzophenone and bisphenol A was studied after subjecting the polymer to rheological and tribological testing. It was found that neither the rheological tests nor the pressure molding at temperatures below 300 degrees C had any effect on the MMD of the polymer. At temperatures above 300 degrees C, the content of high-molecular-mass fractions in the polymer grows, suggesting that the cross-linking of macromolecules dominates over their degradation. Tribochemical transformations of poly(arylene ether ketone) during wear are characterized by the formation of products resulting from random degradation of the macromolecules.
