Аннотация:The analyze the change of spatial coherence and polarization properties of radiation in optically active media, solid crystals, and cholesteric liquid crystals. It is suggested that the light acquires finite degree of polarization in optically active media and cholesteric liquid crystals, and that the radius of coherence of x-rays is increased by Bragg scattering in ideal crystals.
