Аннотация:Fluorinated polymers engage attention of many researchers due to their exceptional properties: lower surface energy and adhesion, higher selectivity of gas separation, often high free volume, gas permeability, and solubility. These peculiarities make them attractive membrane materials. The chapter is focused on methods of introduction of fluorine into polymer structure (synthesis, direct fluorination, plasma chemical treatment), gas and vapor permeation, and sorption of the fluorinated polymers.
