Аннотация:The title system with a positive electrode based on aLiNi0.8Co0.15Al0.05O2 mixed layered oxide and a negative electrode of filamentary germanium nanostructures can operate at low temperatures (to –55 °C) in an electrolyte based on propylene carbonate. The energy density of such abattery is about 400 Wh kg–1 (in terms of active compounds),which exceeds that of commercial LiCoO2/C batteries by afactor of 1.25.
