Аннотация:An approach for accelerated simulating of the Doppler frequency spectra histogram (DFSH) of a signal from the laser Doppler flowmeter using a Monte-Carlo method is suggested. An extra averaging over permutations of the moving and stationary particles along the photon trajectories enables noticeably less trajectories to be simulated in order to obtain an estimate of the DFSH with a pre-set accuracy as compared with the traditional method. The convergence of the DFSH by this `fast' method to that by the traditional method is demonstrated for different experimental conditions and the computational time advantage of the fast method is evaluated.
