Аннотация:The article discusses methodological approaches to producing maps for precision agriculture on the basis of aerial hyperspectral data and field sampling. We consider capabilities and limitations of using remote sensing and spectral characteristics of crops to determine their condition, and the necessary technical protocols. Experimental work was carried out in the fields of Menkovo Experimental Station, Leningrad region and in the Krasnodar region. We studied winter and spring wheat and spring barley, with different doses of fertilization and herbicides application. For ground truthing we have used ASD FieldSpec 3 Hi-Res spectroradiometer. We analysed the potential of different spectral vegetation indices derived from aircraft hyperspectral data for mapping and produced sample maps of crop phytomass for precision farming. The developed technologies were successfully applied in April-June 2016 in the fields of Krasnodar region with the Gamaya miniature hyperspectral camera mounted on the GeoScan UAV platform.
